Nowadays, software is the key component empowering most organizations, products and services. Software engineers are highly sought-after professionals who face many challenges, such as the fast-paced evolution of technology and global projects and teams. 

In the context of the Bachelor's degrees in Techniques for Software Application Development and Computer Engineering, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) organizes the Software Development Day: an online event dedicated to the software development craft and profession. In this 2023 edition, we want to explore the diverse career paths in software engineering. Veteran professionals will share their first-hand experiences in different types of organizations:

• IT consulting firms
• Start-ups

The Software Development Day 2023 will take place on April 18th 2023, 18:00 - 20:00 (CEST) - Online. Attendance is open to all and free of charge. The language of this event will be English.
